Austin-Travis County Emergency Service said a man and a woman were seriously injured and a third is also injured, although their condition is not so sensitive. Police said a fourth victim refused medical treatment at the scene, the news reported.
The victims were described as two women in their 30s and a man in his 20s. The city’s doctors took the three of them to the Dell Seton Medical Center in downtown Austin for treatment.
Police were first called to the scene in a house in downtown Austin, in the idyllic neighborhood of North Loop, just after 6 am Sunday morning.
Officials apprehended the alleged perpetrator, after being notified that he had gone to a second place in the same block and “been in contact” with other people, although no violence was reported in the second place.
The suspect is receiving medical attention but had no serious injuries, Knouse said. Authorities were unable to say how the suspect was injured but reported that police officers did not have to use force during the arrest.
